Events will be massed-start (scratch) races, the same races used for USA Cycling Junior National Championships. Timing for non-massed-start events will be available by request after the massed start races. Riders may ride above their age groups if desired. Age groups may be combined as necessary by promoter.

Registration opens at 11:30 am, and closes at 12:45 pm. First race at 1:00 pm. Entry fee is $10, which includes $3 USA Cycling insurance surcharge. Santa Clara County release signed by parent or guardian required, blank release can be found on the velodrome web site (www.ridethetrack.com) or from promoter. No pre-registration, race day registration only. Prizes are medals and some merchandise. All races are held under the rules of USA Cycling. Rain cancels.

Directions: Take US 101 the Hellyer Ave exit in south San Jose. Go west to the stop sign, then proceed into Hellyer Park and follow the signs to the velodrome. Santa Clara County charges a parking fee. If you do not have a current Santa Clara County Parks parking pass, be prepared for a challenge buying a daily pass through the machine. Hellyer Park Velodrome is a facility of the Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation system.
